On the 4th of July we had a nice hot day and took Callum for his first swim in the pool. I keep saying to myself, "Someday the kids will really enjoy this pool, and it will be worth all of the expense and upkeep." Well the day has finally arrived! Callum was tentative and very sober during his first swimming experience, but he was comfortable in the water and enjoyed being with Mom and Dad.

We went again on July 9th, and we got some smiles out of him that time. He really liked being moved through the water and swished back and forth. Daddy even lifted him up and down to splash, which he also enjoyed. He likes sitting in his pink goldfish float to see the water and stay out of the sun.
