Callum hit six months of age and then started moving even faster. He has made a lot of progress this month, in addition to being possibly the cutest baby ever born. His parents continue to be surprised and awed at his delightful attitude, smiles, and cooperative nature. He is so much fun to be around and lights up our home.
Callum started eating real food this month! He has progressed quickly from a few small bites to taking in big bites as fast as we can deliver them. He is expanding his tastes with rice cereal, beans, carrots, squash, and sweet potatoes already this month. We will be trying steak and lobster soon!

Portuguese festival in Ludlow, Massachusetts. Helping Daddy reminisce about his mission.
We went to the Four Town Fair in Somers, which is so conveniently located about 5 minutes away from our house. It reminds Dad of the fairs from his youth back in Washington. Callum enjoyed looking at the booths and flashing lights on the rides, he just doesn't seem to be afraid of anything. He didn't quite understand the really big animals, but got excited when we went to see the rabbits, chickens, and ducks that were more his size. He continues to impress us with what a good baby he is, and even though he is supposedly at the age where "stranger anxiety" is at its peak, he loves everyone who holds him and plays with him even if they are new.

Callum tries to figure out what to think about his first goat.
We took Callum to the Big E and he wanted to be up and out of his stroller so he could see everything. He looked and looked and hardly said a word because he was so entranced with all of the new things. He kept looking around until he fell asleep without a word, while he was still craning his neck to see things. Of course we went to our favorite corn dog booth, the lime sherbet raspberry drink booth, the apple cobbler booth, the flatbread pizza booth, and so on.

First Teeth!!!
Callum gave a few moans and produced his first teeth this month, he really didn't fuss much. It looks like he may finish growing his second set on the top by month-end as well. Of course, we love pulling down his bottom lip to inspect the new enamel!
