We were excited to discover the Allentown Celtic Festival just a few days before it happened very close to our home. We had a fun day wearing our Scottish clothes and seeing lots of others dressed up. Callum loved the Irish violin music and band we heard as we ate our fish and chips. He made a crown and watched some spinning of wool into yarn. He was thrilled to wear his kilt and fascinated with his very own sporran. We got lots of compliments on our matching family outfits!
I think Callum's favorite part may have been the bagpipes. He kept asking to go find more bagpipes whenever we strayed off to things like food. We saw a bit of highland dancing, some of the games, lots of bands, and even a local drummer that let Callum join in. Mr. C was also quite taken with the thrilling shuttle bus ride to and from the parking lot!
